How Zosavi handles account data, health signals, AI features, and deletion choices.
Last updated: August 23, 2026
Vita App Inc. operates Zosavi. We use information you provide to operate the app, generate educational health forecasts, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell or broker your health data.
Information Zosavi may process
- Account and subscription status needed to run the product and support billing questions.
- Meal photos, voice notes, barcodes, nutrition estimates, workouts, and app interactions you choose to provide.
- Apple Health signals you explicitly authorize, such as steps, workouts, sleep, and heart-rate trends.
- Device, crash, and diagnostic information used to keep the app reliable and secure.
Apple Health
Apple Health access is opt-in and controlled through iOS permissions. You can grant, limit, or revoke access in iOS settings at any time. Zosavi uses authorized health signals only to provide requested product features, such as trends, forecasts, and coaching context.
AI features
AI processing is a core part of the signed-in Zosavi account experience. Meal Scan, Solara coaching, workout planning, forecasting, and personalized insights use automated systems to interpret your inputs and produce educational estimates. The required account agreement presented during signup includes this processing; Zosavi does not present a separate AI opt-in after account creation. If you do not agree to this processing, do not create or continue using a Zosavi account.
When you use an AI feature, the app sends the inputs needed for that request to Zosavi-controlled services on Google Cloud. Those services may send meal photos, food descriptions, messages, and relevant wellness context—such as authorized steps, sleep, activity, check-in, meal, water, and workout summaries—to OpenAI for server-side processing. The production app does not connect directly to OpenAI or contain an OpenAI credential.
Zosavi configures OpenAI API requests with storage disabled and does not use OpenAI as the system of record for your meal or coaching history. OpenAI may still process and retain request data as permitted by our processor agreement and its security or legal obligations. Zosavi uses Google Firebase for services such as account authentication, cloud data and file storage, app integrity, analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. Apple provides platform services such as Sign in with Apple, Apple Health permissions, and App Store billing.
AI outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review results before saving them or acting on them. Zosavi provides general wellness guidance, not medical advice.
How information is used
- Operate the app, maintain your account, and provide the features you request.
- Generate forecasts, summaries, and coaching suggestions.
- Prevent abuse, debug issues, secure the service, and improve product quality.
- Respond to account, billing, privacy, and technical support requests.
What Zosavi does not do
- We do not sell or broker your health data.
- We do not use Apple Health data for advertising.
- We do not present forecasts as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or disease prevention.
Deletion and choices
You can start account deletion in the app from Settings by choosing Delete account. For current Zosavi releases, the account is frozen for a 30-day cancellation window. Signing back in during that window lets you cancel the request. We retain the account data during the frozen window only so the deletion can be canceled; after the window, the account and its Zosavi-controlled content are permanently removed from our systems.
A limited deletion-fence record—such as the account identifier, request and completion timestamps, and deletion state—may remain briefly after completion so distributed deletion work can finish and be verified. You can contact Zosavi support for privacy help. Deleting a Zosavi account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple bills and manages App Store subscriptions, and cancellation must be completed through your Apple account.
Health disclaimer
Zosavi forecasts are educational estimates, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for a clinician.
